NARM
The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is a therapeutic approach specifically designed to treat attachment, relational, and developmental trauma, often referred to as complex trauma or C-PTSD. Developed by Dr. Laurence Heller, NARM integrates psychodynamic, somatic, and cognitive therapies with affective neuroscience within a relational context.
Unlike traditional trauma therapies that focus primarily on past events, NARM addresses the persistent survival patterns formed in response to early trauma that continue to disrupt present-day functioning. It helps individuals reconnect with their authentic selves by fostering mindful awareness, self-regulation, and secure relational connections. NARM emphasizes working in the present moment with a focus on strengths and resources, supporting healing through corrective relational and embodied experiences.
This integrative, resource-oriented model is widely used by therapists and healthcare professionals to help clients overcome complex trauma and restore connection, autonomy, and vitality.

GROUPSUPERVISION NARM
Group supervision provides space to internalise the principles of the model and differentiate the subtleties of guidance within the framework of NARM. Our difficulties in therapeutic work serve as entry points to finding more connection with our own capacities as therapists.
During the two hours, both cases are discussed and experiential approaches (role-playing, experiential exploration, etc.) are used. Understanding the four pillars and the model plays just as important a role as exploring one's own strategies in therapeutic work.
The maximum number of participants per session is eight.
Participation is open to anyone who has completed NARM therapist training or is currently undergoing NARM training.
1 credit voor cursisten in de training of LVSC geaccrediteerde supervisie voor herregistratie.
De prijs wordt aangepast naar het aantal deelnemers. Klik op de boekingslink om de data te zien.

ACTIVE COACHING NARM
Active group coaching offers the opportunity to refine your work with NARM as a therapist and to gain a deeper understanding of the model. My coaching focuses on getting to know and strengthening your own authentic way of coaching within the framework of the four pillars.
During the 2.5 hours, there will be two practice rounds + a debriefing, with plenty of room for specific questions and in-depth exploration of the model.
Maximum number of participants per session: 8 participants
Participation is open to anyone who has completed a basic NARM training course or is currently enrolled in a NARM training course.
